Information

Primary assessment is an online web based assessment package aimed at primary schools in the UK. Once a school is set up with Primary Assessment,  individual teachers can login and view pupils in their class, up-date assessment records, track progress and determine where a class or individual needs to go next.   Coordinators can also keep up with planning and progress within their areas. If you wish, Primary Assessment could also produce school reports available to print or view securely online.

About Us

We are a small group of teachers who decided there was a gap in the market for a quality but realistically priced online assessment package.

This project started with the Information Communicating Technology subject. The aim within our schools was to try and incorporate ICT throughout a topic based curriculum without loosing the skills being explicitly taught. We believed that with an easy method of assessing and tracking a pupil's ICT capabilities, we could move away from the QCA units of work. Using the assessment targets we have been able to plan shorter focused lessons that teach the children neccesary skills which they can then use within other areas of the currciulum.

From this, we have ended up with an online assessment module and this in turn led to a planning guide, including both short and long term plans, a coordinator section with an overall report and end of term pupil reports. We are now looking at extending 'Online Assessment' to incorporate all subjects.

This project has been based in the South West of England but if you feel you have something to offer please get in touch.
